Meet the Team

Our Dedicated Team of Group Leaders – Here to Keep Your Child Safe, Happy and Supported All Year Round

Whenever we run a junior or teenage residential programme – whether during summer, Easter, autumn, winter or any other school holiday – we recruit and train an experienced, multilingual team of group leaders from Malta and from countries across Europe and beyond.

Every leader is carefully selected for their maturity, responsibility and genuine passion for working with young people. All hold up-to-date police conduct certificates and complete comprehensive safeguarding, child protection and first-aid training before the programme starts.

The team is on duty and contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the entire duration of every residential course, with a Senior Leader and Duty Manager always available overnight.

Two complementary roles – constant care from arrival to departure

Live-in Leaders

They live in the student residence and look after the daily routine:

  • Waking students and ensuring they get to breakfast and lessons on time
  • Escorting younger students to and from school
  • Being present at every meal
  • Evening room checks and lights-out
  • First point of contact if a student feels unwell, homesick or needs help at any time of day or night

Students quickly see their Live-in Leaders as trusted, familiar figures who provide continuity and reassurance throughout their stay.

Day & Activity Leaders

They are with the students throughout the day and make every moment outside the classroom exciting and memorable:

  • Supervising breaks and lunch at school
  • Leading sports, cultural visits, beach trips, workshops and evening events
  • Organising and escorting students on all excursions
  • Offering friendly academic and emotional support whenever needed

These are the leaders who create lifelong memories while keeping safety and welfare as the top priority at all times.

Additional specialist roles for complete peace of mind

On every residential programme we always have:

  • Senior Leaders & Head Live-in – experienced returning staff who mentor the team and oversee operations
  • Qualified First Aiders on duty at all times
  • Night Duty Manager – a senior team member contactable 24/7
  • Multilingual leaders – fluent in Italian, German, French, Spanish, Russian and more to assist in students’ and parents’ preferred languages

Many of our leaders return programme after programme – some have been with us for 5–10 years or longer – bringing continuity, experience and the highest possible standards every time we welcome junior students.

No matter which time of year your child joins us, they will be cared for by a professional, caring and highly experienced team whose sole focus is their safety, happiness and enjoyment.
